The Internal Audit Division's workplan guides the division's work for two years. To create the workplan, IAD conducts a risk assessment of each City department's activities. The
Audit Committee reviews the risk assessment and approves a plan that targets the areas of greatest risk. The workplan also allows for ad hoc projects requested by the City Council or administration.
