Columbia Square is a mixed-use development in the heart of Columbia Tusculum that has offered premium office, retail, and restaurant spaces since opening in Fall 2008. The project is the result of a partnership between Al Neyer Inc., the Columbia-Tusculum community, and the City of Cincinnati. This $20 million development was mostly financed with private dollars, but also utilized project TIF revenues and other City funds to complete major infrastructure improvements that were needed at the site.
The Columbia Tusculum community envisioned a new neighborhood business center for many years. This vision became a reality when Al Neyer Inc. and the City brought necessary funding to the table. Columbia Square is now almost completely leased up, serving as home to a number of businesses. The newest business is Ipsos, a leading global survey-based market research firm. Ipsos moved its Cincinnati area offices and 140 employees to Columbia Square in 2011.
