Brownfield Job Training Program

The Brownfield Job Training Program is a free seven-week job training course funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Among the topics open to Hamilton County residents are:  40-hour Career Development, 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Site Worker,  32-hour Lead Abatement Worker (Ohio license obtained), 40-hour Asbestos Abatement Supervisor (Ohio license obtained),  30-hour OSHA Construction Outreach,  16-hour OSHA Confined Space Entry,  40-hour Environmental Site Technician,  16-hour Mold Remediation, 4-hour Health and Safety as well as computer skills training.

The training sessions are currently being offered!  To be considered for the program applicants must be 18 years of age, able to lift 40 lbs, pass a drug test, have a GED or high school diploma and a valid drivers license.  Applicants must also submit a written request to enter the program, provided three letters of recommendation and provide a police check.
