Significance: Constructed in 1878, this is an early civic center built in Victorian Gothic style and designed by Samuel Hannaford, a notable Cincinnati architect. It was used for popular 19th-century singing festivals. Cincinnati Music Hall is now home to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Opera. The Cincinnati Ballet also performs periodically at this facility. The Cincinnati Opera will be renovating the north wing for the Corbett Opera Center.
