PROGRAM: A professional consultant provides technical assistance and advice to recipients and/or potential applicants of City's Small Business Loan programs and Neighborhood Business District programs.

 

MAXIMUM AMOUNT: Up to $3,500 per business, Department of Community Development must authorize any additional assistance in writing.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Assistance is only available to recipients and/or potential applicants of the City's Small Business Loan programs and Neighborhood Business District programs.  Each applicant's project must meet one of the Community Development Block Grant objectives.

 

ELIGIBLE/
INELIGIBLE USES: The consultant may assist in the packaging of public and private business loan applications, monitor a business' performance, and/or provide the assistance required to overcome deficiencies, including accounting and management assistance.  The consultant may act as an advisory resource to each participating business to assist in structuring production, financial, management and operational systems.  The consultant may also assist the Department of Community Development in structuring the loan terms and performance criteria if the business is applying for loan assistance.

 

RATES/FEES:  Consulting services funded by Department of Community Development.
