NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION
PROGRAM:   Locate, acquire, clear, assemble vacant blighted and underutilized property. Concentrated in Mt. Auburn, Evanston, and East End, but available citywide.
 
PROGRAM GOAL:   Spot slum and blight removal.
 
TYPICAL STRUCTURE:  Site preparation assistance to reduce total development costs.
 
REPAYMENT:   Property must be developed as specified.
 
BENEFITS:    Tax generating development on previously underutilized City parcels.
 
ELIGIBILITY:   Demonstrated development capacity
 
STRUCTURE:    Contractual purchase of property by developer.
 
ELIGIBLE/
INELIGIBLE USES:
  Homeownership.
 
APPROVAL:    Contracts approved by City Council.
 
PROGRAM EXAMPLES: 222, 237-239, 313 McGregor.  Vacant parcels acquired through Sheriff Sales and the CLRP: 6 in Evanston, 11 in Mt.Auburn, 2 in East End, 4 in Westwood, 9 in CUF, 2 in Mt.Airy
