Bishop's Bicycle's Thursday Night Ride

Bishop's Bicycle's Thursday Night Ride

Every Thursday in May, 6:30pm

The ride departs promptly at 6pm so plan to arrive early. There are several speed groups that range from race pace to conversational pace. These groups travel various routes east of Milford to the covered bridge on Stonelick-Williams Rd while other groups ride west into the City of Cincinnati. We also have a self lead recreation group that rides on the beautiful Little Miami Scenic River Trail. After the rides participants from all groups head down to MJ’s on Main Street in Milford for a cool drink and a bite to eat. Helmets and tail lights are required. We post our weekly ride info on the Bishop’s Bicycle’s Facebook page.

Bike Program

The mission of the City of Cincinnati Bicycle Transportation Program is to make bicycling an integral part of daily life in Cincinnati, so that persons of all ages and abilities utilize bicycles for all types of trips. We work toward this goal by planning, engineering, and implementing bicycle facilities, and by educating the community about bicycle transportation.

The Bicycle Program has successfully implemented many projects, including striping 23 miles of bicycle lanes, installing over 450 bike racks, creating 20 miles of shared-use paths/trails, upgrading 231 miles of streets with bike friendly stormwater inlets, and installing 5 miles of shared lane markings, or "sharrows."
